Have You Ever Donated To UKWT? Find Out What You've Funded / Made Happen...

What the Wildlife Care Badge (the map that UKWT runs off, and that UKWT also funds) and UK Wildlife Transporters have made happen in the last 5 years, has had a big impact in the UK in such a short time, I think. Here's our most in depth overview so far...

  • Here’s an overview of all of the work - more than 16,000hrs of structural organising & administration, over the last 5 years - to get to this point (as of August 2025): HERE

HERE’S SOME SUMMARIES OF TRANSPORT CASES:

UKWT HAS SOME OF OUR BIGGEST IMPACT IN ‘REMOTER’ AREAS:
  • Helping in the remoter areas (a pigeon): HERE

  • Here’s a special review from a Vet Practice in a tricker area: HERE

  • Another example of what UKWT is doing to fill in the transport gap in remoter areas: HERE

  • Bristol & Bath were challenging areas for wildlife this Spring/Summer 2025 - especially for Gulls.  UKWT was especially impactful here, this year, as we moved a lot of birds - who would have otherwise been unnecessarily euthanised - to Wildlife Rescues further away, to get their second chance: HERE

  • A further example (2 Gull Chicks & a young Rabbit) of wildlife in remote areas helped to emergency care: HERE

WE DON’T ‘JUST’ TRANSPORT:
  • We don’t JUST fill in a transport gap, we often provide ‘wildlife care support’ too: HERE

  • Sometimes, transporting wildlife to Rescues isn’t necessary.  Here’s a family of Gulls that were supported until the youngsters fledged, this 2025 summer, by kind UKWT Drivers: HERE

CHECK OUT ALL OF OUR UKWT DRIVER TEAMS THUS FAR:
  • UKWT is now structured to provide UKWT Drivers Teams directly to Wildlife Rescues & Vet Practices.  We’re in the middle of setting up our 52nd Team.  Here’s the 51 Teams set up so far (to fill in the transport gap across the UK): HERE

WHAT DOES IT LOOK LIKE, TO ENABLE ALL OF OUR DRIVERS TO GET READY & WAITING TO HELP WILDLIFE?
  • Becoming aware of places with transport support requirements: HERE

  • Recruiting / equipping new Drivers & adding them to our database: HERE

  • And don’t just take my word for it all, here’s some testimonials: HERE
