DO YOU NEED WILDLIFE CASUALTIES TRANSPORTED FROM VETS PRACTICES OR MEMBERS OF THE PUBLIC, TO YOU?

 

- If you would like help getting wildlife casualties transported over to you (from members of the public, who cannot transport themselves) UKWT can recruit, equip and fund local Volunteer Drivers (or even MORE Drivers, if you already have a list) to go onto your personal Drivers List, for you to contact to ask them to transport.

 

- If you would like help getting wildlife casualties (that have been dropped off to your vets, for treatment) back to your Wildlife Rescue, UKWT can recruit, equip and fund local Volunteer Drivers (or even MORE Drivers, if you already have a list) to go onto your personal Drivers List, for you to contact to ask them to transport.

AS A WILDLIFE RESCUE / REHABBER - HERE'S WHAT HAPPENS...

HOW DO YOU GET YOUR LIST OF DRIVERS?  -  You just need to sign a GDPR form agreeing to not share the Driver info (registration plate, phone number, name and post code) with anyone outside of your Rescue - without the Driver's express permission.

WHAT CRITERIA DO YOU HAVE TO MEET, FOR UKWT TO RECRUIT, EQUIP & FUND DRIVERS FOR YOU?​

AFTER MUCH CONSIDERATION - AS WILDLIFE WELFARE IS AT THE TOP OF ABSOLUTELY EVERYTHING THAT WE DO - WE HAVE UPGRADED OUR POLICY TO ONLY RECRUIT, EQUIP & FUND DRIVERS FOR WILDLIFE RESCUES THAT HAVE THE WCB ALREADY OR WHO ARE A VERY LARGE CENTRE, WITH VETS ON THE PREMISES A LOT OF THE TIME.

AS IMPLEMENTING THESE CHANGES IS NOT IDEAL AT THIS TIME OF YEAR, THE WILDLIFE CARE BADGE TEAM HAVE CREATED A FAST TRACK PROCESS TO HELP ALL WILDLIFE RESCUES GET THEIR WCB BADGE ASAP.
