This is a training opportunity for UKWT Drivers only (paid for by UKWT, to say 'thank you')...
Please fill in this FORM if you would like to attend some free training (paid for by me, Alana at UKWT, for you, as a thank you) on what to do if you find a wildlife casualty, as a Driver. This training will be online and run by Lucy Steele from Wild Things Rescue, focusing on aspects like... Lone working, health and safety, capturing animals etc.
It’s set for 2pm, 3rd November 2024. You will be emailed the info…
[For those wondering... This training is different from the 'Wildlife First Aid Officer' or 'Getting Prepared to Find A Casualty' training that I provide and is complementary to what I go through on my online course and in the WFAO Booklet. Lucy will be focusing on exactly when to help, when to leave the casualty alone, potential actions etc. In essence, Lucy will be going over what you might expect a Wildlife Rescue to say to you and advise you on, should you phone them to say that you have found a casualty. It is the far advanced next step training of the 'simple emergency first steps' that I take people through.]
