Behind The Scenes...

Most of what you see of UKWT (Driver Teams & Transport Shares) are the very tip of the iceberg, of what we do. The work that it's taken - and the work still needing to be done, every day - behind the scenes, just so that we can send a Driver to the pick up of a struggling wildlife casualty/orphan, is enormous.

UKWT requires, to run, not just one but TWO organisations and if one - the Wildlife Care Badge - doesn't succeed, then UKWT will start to struggle to exist. Because without a map of places to take wildlife to, for them to get the right care, there's no point picking an animal up in the first place.

Behind the scenes, it's a vast amount of admin / organisation / emailing / calls / meetings, just to be able to say "Yes we can send a Driver to that animal."
