Super kind Donors / Supporters have funded over £16000 of our running costs this year already. I need to urgently raise another £1206 to cover what I borrowed, to cover fuel costs especially, when fundraising was slow.

Fuel prices going up this year hit us hard, but we haven't yet had to turn a transport request away, due to lack of funds. Help me to catch up on what I borrowed, to keep helping animals this year, please...
My name's Alana, I founded and run UKWT.
At the start of 2026, I anticipated UKWT being asked to transport up to 1500 animals this year alone (growing from 793 last year). We're about to exceed even that number of transport requests...

In January, I wasn't sure how we would fund 2026, as we experienced a big donations drop (due to social media algorithms changing) but somehow, our amazingly kind supporters have funded over £16,000 of running/fuel costs, to enable us to help almost 1500 animals, so far.
What we couldn't fundraise for quick enough, I borrowed: compared to how worried I was about our funding at the start of the year, it's very little, only £1206.
I need to pay off what I have borrowed - for fuel costs mostly, which are almost £5500 this year already - by 7th September.
